Spring comes to Winnipeg with outdoor activities

Outdoor activities start in Winnipeg and make city residents leave their houses.

If the arrival of the season’s first Canada Goose at Oak Hammock Marsh isn’t enough of a sign of spring for you, there are some outdoor activities for you.

All golf fans will be pleasantly surprised that the 2019 season begins as early as Thursday, March 21. Shooters Family Golf Centre on Main Street is ready to open its doors for all city residents. No one expected such an early opening, because, as a rule, the golf season begins in the city in the last week of April.

Popular local ice cream joints also do not want to wait until snow melts in the city. Sargent Sundae started its work last Friday and Bridge Drive-In on Jubilee is going to start working this Friday, March 22.

There is also great news for parents and their children - Leisure Guide started registration for spring-summer outdoor activities on Tuesday, March 19.

Now all residents of the city can say with confidence that spring has come to Winnipeg and they are looking forward to the warm weather.
