Man in hospital after downtown assault

Winnipeg Police officers were called to the intersection of Portage Avenue and Spence Street at approximately 1 a.m. on Friday where they found an injured man. The unidentified male appeared injured after the attack or assault by another person.

The victim was taken to a nearby hospital where his status was upgraded to stable condition. As of now, there is no report or an update about his current condition.

As per local police, there is no one arrested yet and no suspect in this assault case. Due to the lack of witnesses and the information from the victim, officers really do not have any leads now.
