On Saturday, the 1st of September 2018 the reduction of the maximum speed in the school areas comes into force.
Afterward, on the weekend this rule will not work till Monday, the 3rd of September.
Pay attention: despite the fact that on the 3rd of September there will be a holiday, the speed limitation till 30 km/h won’t be canceled.
Don’t forget that on the 2nd of September 2014 (the first working day when the law came into action) the officers wrote 128 tickets and 173 warnings in different school areas all over the city.
The speed limit will be 30 km/h from 7 a.m till 5:30 p.m starting from Monday till Friday in the majority of school areas according to the law 76/2014. This limitation will be on until the 30th of June 2019.
