A male teenager was killed after he was hit by a car on the Main Road in Oxford House.
Midday Tuesday a 16-year-old female was driving the car when she hit a male victim. RCMP officers believe he was lying on the road when the accident happened. Police said, there were no signs of an alcohol or a speeding to be involved in the accident.
The female driver stopped the vehicle and called the police, the teenager boy was delivered to a nearby nursing station, but unfortunately doctors couldn’t help to save his life, he was pronounced dead.
RCMP investigators continue their work to get all the facts in this case, for now, officers do not have an explanation for a reason of teenage boy to be lying in the middle of the road and what led to such tragic accident.
