Friday night around 9 p.m. a man was hit by a car in Fisher River, Manitoba. As per police, a man was walking on a highway when he was hit by a vehicle going north.
The driver, a 69-year-old man, pulled over and called police right away, he remained at the scene until police and paramedics had arrived. The victim was rushed to a nearby hospital with serious injuries, but unfortunately, doctors couldn’t help and he was pronounced dead.
The incident is still under investigation, forensics gathering all the evidence and reconstructing the events of that night. There are no witnesses that came forward yet. If you have any useful information about the incident, please contact the local police department.
