Home sales in Winnipeg decreased by 12%

As it became known, September figures are significantly different from a year ago.

A year ago, home sales were 12% higher than they are now. Throughout the year, with each passing month the situation with the sale of real estate gradually worsened, and it reached its peak in September.

If to take the five-year statistics into account, then sales were better by 9%.

According to official data, about 1,150 houses were sold last September. This September, about 100 houses less were only sold.

Perhaps, mortgage rules led to this situation. The figures for 2018 can be compared with those of 2014 and 2013. This problem occurs not only in Winnipeg, but about 50 other cities also can not boast of high sales.

More details on sales:

4 houses were bought for a little more than a million;

2 houses were bought for about two million;

several condos were bought for a price between $70,000 and $970,000;

the cheapest accommodation was bought for a little more than $40,000.
