Road rage leads to charges

Of course, it is always stressful to drive to and from work when the traffic gets jammed, some drivers are sleepy, some are just slow, there is always that guy trying to cut you and get in front of your vehicle, but some people just can’t handle it and get violent. With modern technology, every other vehicle now has a dash cam, and every driver has a Smartphone to film such incidents, so road rage incidents mostly end up on YouTube where viewers can have fun and post their likes and comments, but sometimes the story goes another route.

Last Saturday night, October 13th, a road rage incident led to a beating and a person in the hospital, a police report was filed and a few days later attacker got arrested. As per police, the suspect had been driving on Corydon Avenue near Lilac Street when he became upset with the driver in front of him. The suspect stopped his vehicle, assaulted the other driver, and then fled the area. Police officers arrived at the scene and found a driver from another vehicle with serious upper-body injuries. A 49-year-old man was taken to a hospital in stable condition.

An investigation was launched and the suspect identified, Devon Antony Naylor, a 22-year-old Winnipeg man was arrested in a traffic stop in the same area the road rage incident occurred.
