Greyhound stops its work in Manitoba and some other provinces

The company ceased operations in several Canadian provinces on Wednesday.

Dale Patkau who spend about 30 years behind the wheel wanted to recognize his final ride and he found quite an unusual way - he wrote a song about it.

His road to this company began when he was 5 years old, his father also worked as a driver for many years. Besides his father, his uncle and two brothers also worked in Greyhound.

The man said that he travelled almost through the whole country behind the wheel of the bus of this company. His song is a tribute to all the people he met for 30 years and to his family. Dale Patkau also wanted to show his respect and attention to all the company's employees with whom he met daily while working in the company.

Maple Bus Lines will be working instead of Greyhound from the nearest future. Dale Patkau said he will go there after his last ride in Greyhound.
