Winnipeg Squash Racquet Club will have a fundraising evening for men only

A new fundraiser will be held at the Winnipeg Squash Racquet Club.

It will be another event that will be held by a Manitoba government backbencher. An evening in the style of whiskey, wine and ale-tasting is going to be next week, and only men will be present there.

Nahanni Fontaine, New Democrat legislature member, announced that the Tories decided to make a party in this club for the second time and he thinks it is better to find a place for both men and women.

The squash club’s board of directors informed that they have nothing women but there is not enough space in the club.

Susan Thompson was the mayor of Winnipeg from 1992 to 1998 and she noted that she could not get to the event last year and the decision of men-only entry is not correct.
