96 Manitobans got free haircuts during the weekend

Brenda Lee Reimer started the event called Snippets of Love after her friend was diagnosed with cancer.

Brenda cut and sold her hair and gave money to her friend. After a while, she came up with an idea of Snippets of Love. So, twice a year several volunteer hairstylists offer free haircuts for Manitoba inhabitants. This is especially necessary for those who do not have enough money for going to the hairdressing salon.

This time she was joined by 11 hairstylists. The woman could not believe it. 96 people got free haircuts with their help. In addition to free haircuts, clients could also choose donated clothes or other home goods for free.

Reimer told that people were so happy to come and to get services without paying for them. They were smiling all the time.

This year is already the third year of Snippets of Love. The woman is happy that she has found her calling and helps people. Brenda does not intend to stop and will continue to do this as much as she can. Perhaps, in the future she will start some other events to help people more.
