Blue Christmas church services can help people during holiday period

Everyone loves Christmas and is looking forward to it. Winnipeg residents are no exception: they buy gifts to their relatives and friends, decorate their houses, and make up a festive menu.

However, for some residents, the holiday period can be rather sad if they recently lost some of their close people. Blue Christmas church can come to the aid of these people.

Tina Holland, a woman from Winnipeg, shared her story. Her husband died 4 years ago, but she feels the loss especially in the festive season.

“It’s more and more lonely so I think more and more about the people I miss,” she said. “I think very few people feel really happy at Christmas.”

The pastor says that their services will be very useful for Tina and other people who are going through difficult times and cannot enjoy the celebration of Christmas.
