Bed bugs are a real problem in Winnipeg and, according to statistics from year to year, it runs in our city for at least a few years in a row on a very high level. Winnipeg was at the second place in 2017 and, apparently, nothing had changed in 2018 as well. According to a press release from Orkin Canada, the problem with bed bugs in Winnipeg is at an all-time high.
The Orkin report for 2017 shows that Winnipeg did not budge this year, as they were again in second place. “In less than two decades, this pest has evolved from a rarely recalled stimulus into a serious problem,” Orkin writes in a press release.
To prevent the appearance of bed bugs, Orkin asks to dry potentially contaminated bedding or clothing at the maximum temperature in the dryer.
