This is an event that cannot be missed! The best commercials from all over the world will be shown on the big screen. You will be able to see commercials from 94 countries, including those that have become winners of the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity last year.
Come to the Winnipeg Art Gallery on Saturday at 7 p.m. and you will not regret it. Tickets cost $15.
2. Finding Wolastoq Voice
Prairie Theatre Exchange welcomes Finding Wolastoq Voice, a dance-theatre piece from Theatre New Brunswick. On the stage, you will see Toronto-based Indigenous dancer/choreographer Aria Evans.
Currently, no more than 100 people speak Wolastoqey in Canada and musician Jeremy Dutcher decided to attract attention to it. He even created an album in Wolastoqey and won the prestigious Polaris Prize and a Juno Award.
The show will be in Winnipeg until March 31.
3. Guys and Dolls
Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra and a cast of wonderful actors and singers will tell a great story about several guys from New York. Now, you can see this well-known story with your own eyes at the Centennial Concert Hall Friday or Saturday at 8 p.m. or Sunday at 2 p.m.
