Winnipeg police are investigating the city’s eleventh homicide of the year

Winnipeg police stated that they received a call on Tuesday morning.

When the officers arrived at the crime scene, they found out that a woman was in critical condition. She was taken to the hospital, however, she was not saved.

Const. Rob Carver explained that it is a real tragedy. The house of the woman was not associated with any criminal activity. Apart from this, there are no witnesses who could tell what exactly happened there.

On Wednesday, the police questioned neighbours and found out that the woman lived with her teenage son. All the neighbours spoke very warmly about the family and said that the son of the deceased was often used to babysit their kids.

At the moment, the killer was not found and the police asked all residents of the city who have useful information to immediately share it.

This homicide has become the eleventh of the year.
