Winnipeg teens charged in robbery

The level of crime in Canada rises every year. In Winnipeg small crimes, thefts and assaults happen every day, unfortunately, a lot of those incidents involving youth.

As per Winnipeg Police, four teenagers were arrested in connection with a string of robberies and assault attacks in the city on Sunday afternoon. Just a few incidents described: a 35-year-old woman was attacked by a group of teens near Ellice Avenue, the woman was pushed and punched multiple times. Thankfully a passersby person intervened and scared the attacker off.

Later the same day, a 19-year-old woman was attacked, robbers took her cell phone and wallet at knifepoint, also the woman was punched a few times and had to seek help in the hospital.

There were more attacks the same day, officers said, three female teens were arrested, they are 14, 15 and 16 years old, also one 14-year-old boy in police custody, all facing multiple charges. Crimes like this really have no reason and look like random attacks teenagers do to entertain themselves.
