Winnipeg Airport is going to meet a new self-driving snowplow this winter

Self-driving snowplow will appear in Winnipeg Airport this winter.

The Winnipeg Airports Authority informed that the test of the first in North America self-driving snowplow will happen this winter.

As it became known, snowplow will be ready for exploitation in January 2019, and if everything is good, it will be used in quieter areas of the airport.

Two huge companies cooperated to create this snowplow: Airport Technologies Inc. and Northstar Robotics Inc. Both corporations are very proud of the work done, and that they were the first in North America to create something similar.

The president and founder of Northstar Robotics said that they have made some tests already and he is looking forward to working with their creation in Winnipeg airport.
