Most Winnipeg residents will spend Christmas at home with the family.

However, many people are going to leave their houses and they will be interested in what will work and what will be closed on Boxing day.

So, if you are among those who plan to go shopping, or you want to buy some gifts in case you intend to visit some relatives or friends, you can do it in the following places:

Polo Park will work from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.

St. Vital Shopping Centre will work from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Kildonan Place will work from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Grant Park Shopping Centre will work from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

If you think about the cultural program on this day, such theatres as Scotiabank Theatre Winnipeg at Polo Park and Landmark Cinemas 8 at Grant Park Shopping Centre will be open.

What about food and alcohol stores?

Liquor Marts will work from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Almost all grocery stores will work from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.

If you need to go somewhere with the help of Winnipeg Transit, it will work on a Sunday schedule.

However, some places will be closed on Boxing Day, they are:
